About CAMFIT

To empower Cameroonian individuals and families in the UK by promoting cultural identity, social inclusion, and holistic wellbeing, while contributing to sustainable development both locally and internationally.

Why we do it
Many Cameroonians living in the UK face unique challenges linked to migration, cultural transition, and social isolation.
Barriers such as limited access to information, unfamiliar systems, and cultural misunderstandings can affect well-being, stability, and opportunity. These realities highlight the need for a trusted, community-led organisation that understands lived experiences and responds with empathy and practical solutions.
We also serve community members seeking connection, cultural identity, and a sense of belonging, including young people and elders looking for mentorship, guidance, and community engagement. Our work welcomes those who wish to celebrate Cameroonian heritage while successfully integrating into life in the UK.
Our Vision
Our vision is a future where Cameroonians in the UK flourish with dignity, pride, and a shared purpose.
To nurture a community where friendship strengthens our bonds, unity empowers our progress, and heritage inspires pride across generations.
We envision a supportive network where CAMFIT -UK members have access to opportunities, wellbeing, and a strong sense of belonging.
Through cultural celebration, social support, and community development, we aim to bridge generations, uplift vulnerable voices, and strengthen connections between the UK and Cameroon.
Empowering Cameroonians to Thrive Socially, Economically, and Culturally in the UK
Through inclusive programmes and collaborative partnerships, the organisation seeks to reduce inequality, promote wellbeing, and strengthen community resilience.
Our purpose extends beyond immediate support—aiming to create long-term impact by nurturing confident individuals, connected families, and a united community grounded in shared values
